Egg don't allow you to transfer your previous or current tax year's cash ISA from another ISA manager to Egg, even though other ISA managers may allow you to.
Withdrawals can be made any time by a BACS or CHAPS transfer to another bank account, or by internal transfer to an Egg Savings Account. And there's no penalty for making a withdrawal.
