These cookies are required for the website to work and have to be set for the customer to be able to access the site and navigate around.
- First party analytic cookies
These cookies are used to track the customer journey on the website. This data derived from the 'session' and 'analytical' cookies will be used for detailed analysis of the website to improve the way the site works, and to help us identify how we can improve the online experience and usability of our website.
- Secure area of egg.com only:
We have two cookies which are used to manage the customer log in for the Egg website. Both of these are required to authenticate the customer and you can't log in to the secure area without them. A permanent cookie is used to support fraud monitoring of applications to protect the customer from fraudulent account activity.
- User interaction / experience cookies
We have 'quick login' and 'personal details' cookies, which are used to pre-populate Name, DOB and postcode so the customer only has to re-key their mother's maiden name and password.
Some of our cookies are used to enable customers to use products like Egg Money Manager, they detect what products they have registered and whether that information needs refreshing. They are essential for the service the customer has requested.

Internet Explorer 9Click the 'Tools' button. Point to 'Safety' and then click 'delete browsing history'. Select the 'cookies' box, then click 'delete'.
Internet Explorer 8Click 'Safety' on the Command bar. Select 'Delete Browsing History'. Select the option for cookies and click 'Delete'.
Internet Explorer 7Select Tools, 'delete browsing history', then select 'Delete cookies'.
ChromeClick on the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options'. Click the 'Under the bonnet' tab, locate the 'Privacy' section and click the 'Clear browsing data' button. Select 'Delete cookies and other site data' to delete all cookies from the list (alternatively, you can remove all cookies created within a specific time period by selecting the period you want from the dropdown list).
FirefoxSelect 'Tools' then 'Options'. Select 'Privacy' and in the 'Cookies' panel, click on 'Show cookies'. You can then either select a cookie and 'Remove cookie', or select 'Remove All Cookies'.
SafariChoose preferences, select 'Security' then 'Show cookies'. Select the cookies to be deleted from the list and select 'delete'.
