Cash back offers (valid from 1 October 2008)

1. Unless otherwise stated, the instant cash back from our selected online retailers will appear on your Account as a credit to your Egg credit card at the same time as your Transaction appears. The cash back will show as "INSTANT CASH BACK", which you can view in your online recent Transactions and your Statement. All offers are valid for Egg Card and Egg Money customers.

2. Unless otherwise stated, you will only be able to benefit from the instant cash back offers by placing your order via the links provided by Egg on Egg's website, or as accessible from the instant cash back offer emails we send you from time to time. Transactions with our selected online retailers which are completed via alternative links and URLs will not be eligible for the special cash back offers.

3. The cash back amounts you receive will be calculated on the total amount of the Transaction, including any postage and packing charges.

4. We reserve the right to withdraw, amend and add to the special cash back offers at any time without notice.

5. Your Purchases with our selected retailers will also be subject to that retailer's own terms and conditions which are set out on their respective websites. We strongly recommend that you familiarise yourself with them before transacting. Queries regarding purchases or delivery of your Purchase should be directed to the customer service department of the respective retailers in the first instance.

6. From time to time our retail partners may choose to offer alternative discounts to (or in addition to) the cash back amounts on offer. In these circumstances, the discounts will be applied directly by the retailer at point of sale. You may be asked to either enter a code when you check out, or to follow a link provided by Egg. This will be made clear to you before you click through.

7. If you have any queries regarding the cash back scheme we offer, please send us a Secure Message by logging in to 'your accounts' and select the option to 'View your messages or send us a message'.

Purchases made on the website http://egg.lastminute.com will be eligible for instant cash back at the quoted rate on the total order value only if you use your Egg credit card to make a Purchase of the following products:
  1. Hotels
  2. Flights + Hotels, including City Breaks and Eurostar Breaks (when you create your own holiday, for example when you package together a flight and hotel under a single price)
  3. Theatre Breaks
  4. Sports Breaks
  5. Spa Breaks
  6. Theatre tickets
  7. Sports tickets
Purchases made in the following categories will not be eligible for cash back rewards regardless of whether or not you use your Egg credit card:
  1. Flights only.

Terms and conditions for the Prize Draw:

  1. Every purchase made at Virgin Wines using your Egg Card via the link provided to www.virginwines.com/eggoffer between 24 October 2009 and 24 December 2009 will automatically gain you entry into the Prize Draw.
  2. Purchases must be processed by 24 December 2009 to qualify for entry into the prize draw.
  3. You must keep your account in good order throughout the promotional period and at the point of winner selection in order to be eligible for entry into the competition. For example, we will not register an entry if:
    1. As at the date of your statement, your statement shows the amount of Transactions you or any Additional Cardholder have made results in you exceeding your credit limit;
    2. You have failed to make a minimum payment by the due date that such payment is to reach us;
    3. You have given us notice that your account is to be closed;
    4. The qualifying transaction is refunded for whatever reason.

  5. It is not necessary to make a retail purchase with an Egg credit card in order to be entered into this promotion. To enter for a chance of winning, send a letter with your name, address, and account number by 24 December 2009 to 'Egg Virgin Wines Promotion', Egg Banking plc, 33 Canada Square, 19-70, London E14 5LB. Only one entry per customer.
  6. Egg Banking plc of Citigroup Centre, Canada Square, London, E14 5LB ("The Promoter") will not be held responsible for winners not taking advantage of the prizes due to health or any other reasons.
  7. Wine experience tickets cannot be sold or transferred in any manner and must be used by the promotion winner.
  8. The winners of the draw will be the first registered transactions drawn at random on 22 January 2010 and will be notified by telephone and/or email by 29 January 2010. If your telephone and/or email details are inaccurate/not up to date then we will not use any other means by which to contact you. If we cannot contact you we will retract the prize and redraw the winner. It is your responsibility to keep your records with us up-to-date.
