What is JavaScript?
JavaScript was originally developed by Netscape Communications (the people who created Netscape Navigator and Netscape Communicator). It is a basic scripting language that allows Web authors to create dynamic pages that react to user interaction, eg to create windows, to verify form input, to open up new browser windows, etc.
You need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser to access some areas of Egg.
