To pay money into your account by electronic transfer from your external bank, please use the following information:

Egg cash ISA	quote the following
For transfers by standing order or BACS	Sort code: 40-61-99 Account number: Your 8 digit Egg cash ISA Account number. If you make a BACS payment which, when added to your Egg cash ISA, takes you over your subscription limit we'll be unable to accept the payment and will return the whole amount to the account from which it was sent within ten business days. We'll send you a secure message to let you know the payment is being returned.
For transfers by CHAPS (please note, banks and building societies usually charge for this)	Sort code: 40-02-50 Account number: 11049151 Reference number: Your Egg cash ISA Account number. If you make a CHAPS payment which, when added to your Egg cash ISA, takes you over your subscription limit we will be unable to accept the payment and will return the whole amount to the account from which it was sent within ten business days. We'll send you a secure message to let you know the payment is being returned.
Pay in by cheque	Cheque deposits won't be accepted, and will be returned to you by post. We recommend that you pay any cheque deposits into your external bank first, and then make a payment from your external bank to your Egg cash ISA.
Faster Payments	Check whether your external bank has the facilities to make a Faster Payment. The payment needs to be sent using the following details: Sort code: 40-61-99 Account number: Your 8 digit Egg cash ISA Account number. Faster Payments received by us before 11.45pm on a business day will earn interest from that day. Otherwise, the payment will earn interest from the next business day.

Egg Savings	quote the following
For transfers by standing order or BACS	Sort code: 40-61-99 Account number: Your 8 digit Egg Savings Account number (you will need to add a zero in front of your account number if it only has 7 digits)
For transfers by CHAPS (please note, banks and building societies usually charge for this)	Sort code: 40-02-50 Account number: 11049151 Reference number: Your Egg Savings Account number
Pay in by cheque	You'll need your Egg paying in book and a pre-paid paying in envelope. If you haven't got these, you can request supplies by calling us on 08451 233 233. You should make your cheque payable to 'Egg, (Account Holder Name(s)), (Account Number)'. eg Egg, Mr Smith, 12345678 (draw a line through any unused space on the payee line so that no-one can add extra numbers or words). If you want to pay in a cheque that someone else has made payable to you, please write your name and Egg account details on the back.
Faster Payments	Check whether your external bank has the facilities to make a Faster Payment. The payment needs to be sent using the following details: Sort code: 40-61-99 Account number: Your 8 digit Egg Savings Account number (you will need to add a zero in front of your account number if it only has 7 digits). Faster Payments received by us before 11.45pm on a business day will earn interest from that day. Otherwise, the payment will earn interest from the next business day.

Egg Card	quote the following
For additional payments by BACS	Egg Card (refers to your green Egg Card) Sort code: 40-02-50 Account number: 01071181 Reference number: your Egg Card number (the long number across the middle of the card). BACS payments take up to four business days to reach us. This will depend on when your bank processes the payment. We will credit your account for interest calculation purposes with effect from the business day on which we receive the payment.
For additional payments by debit card	You can make a debit card payment online. To do this the debit card must be in your name. Simply log in to 'your accounts' and then do one of the following: Either click on the 'Move money' tab at the top of the page, choose the option to 'Make a debit card payment to an Egg account', and then follow the instructions. Or, on the 'Your money' page, click 'view' next to your Egg Card balance - this will take you to the 'Egg Card recent transactions' page. Select 'Make a payment' from the menu on the left of the page and follow the instructions. The payment will be credited to your account for interest calculation purposes with effect from the date we receive it, which will be up to two business days after the date of the payment request.
For additional payments by cheque	You should make your cheque payable to 'Egg, (Account Holder Name(s)), (Account Number)'. eg Egg, Mr Smith, 12345678 (draw a line through any unused space on the payee line so that no-one can add extra numbers or words). Cheques can take seven to ten business days to clear. Please remember that there is a �2 charge for using this payment method. Send your cheque to Egg Monetary Team, Riverside Road, Pride Park, Derby, DE99 3GG.

Faster Payments are usually sent to us by your bank on the day you make the request. This will depend on when your bank processes the payment. Faster Payments received before 11.45pm on a business day will be credited to your account for interest calculation purposes on that day. Otherwise, Faster Payments will be credited on the next business day.
