Safari is the browser which is built into all Mac operating systems. It is now also available on Windows. Safari is compatible with the Egg website. You can find out more by selecting one of the links below.

For some sections of our website to work at their best, it's recommended you enable JavaScript in your browser. To do this, open the 'Preferences' information box, select the 'Security' tab and ensure the 'Enable JavaScript' option is checked.

A cookie is a piece of information sent to your computer when you access a website. The Egg website requires cookies to be enabled in your browser to work correctly. To ensure cookies are enabled, open the 'Preferences' information box, select the 'Security' tab and ensure the 'Accept cookies' option is either set to 'Always' or 'Only from sites I visit'.

You update your browser by using the 'Apple Software Update' function.

On a Mac, you do this by clicking on the 'Apple' menu in the top left of your screen and selecting 'Software Update'. If your software is up-to-date, an information box will let you know, otherwise you'll be prompted to select the applications which need updating.

On a Windows PC, you should select the 'Apple Software Update' from your Start menu. If there are applications which are out-of-date, you'll be prompted to update them.
