Covers items over £75 bought with your Egg Card anywhere in the world against theft or damage (excluding damage caused by normal wear and tear) for 90 days from the date of purchase.
There's a £1,000 limit per item.
Claims are limited to a maximum of £2,000 per claim and £5,000 per cardholder, per year.
Items stolen must be reported to the police within 36 hours of the loss. Excludes items not carried by you or person known by you or left in an unattended vehicle. Some transactions are not covered.

If you're unable to work through accident, sickness or unemployment, Egg Card repayment protection insurance could help you make your monthly repayments.
For a monthly fee of 79p per £100 of your statement balance, Egg Card repayment protection could pay a monthly benefit of one tenth of your outstanding balance until you return to work or for up to one year. Additionally, in the event of your death or diagnosis of a serious illness, your outstanding balance could be paid in full.
Am I eligible for Egg Card repayment protection insurance? As long as you're a UK resident aged between 18 and 65 and are in permanent full time or part time work, you will be eligible for cover. There's no need for a medical or a medical questionnaire. Cover is subject to limitations and exclusions such as pre-existing medical conditions and unemployment that is voluntary or that you’re already aware of.
