So you get your Egg Card, but what do you do if the unexpected happens? Find out what added protection is available to you to give yourself peace of mind.
More than 13,000 cards go missing everyday in the UK and Ireland. What if yours were one of them?
For just £29 a year, you could protect all your cards against being lost or stolen and being used fraudulently. All it takes is one free phone call to cancel your cards and order replacements. Lose your keys and they're covered too, so is the cost of replacing your locks. One policy covers up to five people living at the same address, at no extra charge.

What if you're unable to work through accident, sickness or unemployment? Your Egg Card monthly repayments will still have to be met, and card repayment protection could help.
For a monthly fee of 79p per £100 of your statement balance, Egg Card repayment protection could pay a monthly benefit of one tenth of your outstanding balance until you return to work or for up to one year. Additionally, in the event of your death or diagnosis of a serious illness, your outstanding balance could be paid in full. If your balance is zero, you will pay nothing.
Am I eligible? As long as you're a UK resident aged between 18 and 65 and are in permanent full time or part time work, you will be eligible for cover. There's no need for a medical or a medical questionnaire. Subject to limitations and exclusions as well as pre-existing medical conditions.
