We understand your financial needs are likely to change. Therefore, we make it simple and straightforward for you to ask us to increase or decrease your credit limit:
  1. Log in to 'your accounts'.
  2. From the 'Your money' screen, click on the 'view' link next to your Egg Card account summary - this will take you to the 'Egg Card recent transactions' page.
  3. From the navigation links on the left hand side of the screen, click on 'Request credit limit'.
  4. Your card details will be displayed on screen, along with your existing credit limit. To request a new credit limit enter the amount you would like to request in the 'preferred new credit limit' box. You can request a credit limit that is greater or less than your existing limit. The minimum credit limit we offer is £500.
  5. To help us assess your request for a new credit limit we also ask you to specify your gross annual income.
  6. When you're happy with the details you've entered, click on the 'submit' button to send your request through for review by Egg.
  7. We will then confirm receipt of your request and tell you how we will let you know about our decision.
