How do I make a balance transfer?

You can transfer up to 95% of your available credit limit (as long as it's over £100). You can view the maximum transfer amount available to you on the balance transfer screen when you log in to 'your accounts'.
  1. Log in to 'your accounts' and select the 'Move money' tab.
  2. Then select the option to 'Make a balance transfer'.
  3. Select which card you would like to transfer the balance to ie Egg Card or Egg Money.
  4. You'll be asked to enter the details of the card or account you are transferring from, and an amount to transfer.
Remember to continue to make your usual repayments to each card, overdraft or loan account until you're sure the transfer has been applied to your account. We'll make sure it's received three to four business days after your request.

Check out the table below to see the information you'll need to have to hand to make a balance transfer.
